Genoskin at the SID 83rd Annual Meeting
Advancing dermatology research withex vivo human skin models
We are excited to participate in the SID 83rd Annual Meeting, taking place from May 13-16, 2026, at the Hilton in Chicago, Illinois.
As one of the leading events in dermatological research, this meeting brings together experts from academia, industry, and clinical research to discuss the latest advances in skin biology and dermatological science. This year, Genoskin will present two scientific posters highlighting how our ex vivo human skin platforms generate relevant human data to support skin research, inflammatory responses, and hair follicle biology.
Our poster presentations at SID 2026
1. Recreating scalp inflammation ex vivo: A human hair follicle–preserving model for immunotoxicological and therapeutic assessment
Abstract #0662 | Salons B,C,D – Lower Level, Hilton Chicago
Session Date & Time: Friday, May 15 | 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
2. InflammaSkin® as a human psoriasis model for advanced immune profiling
Abstract #1038 | Salons B,D,D – Lower Level, Hilton Chicago
Session Date & Time: Friday, May 15 | 4:30 PM – 6:00 PM
Advancing skin research: Ethical and predictive human-relevant models
The global regulatory shift towards New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) is driving the need to reduce reliance on animal testing. In response, our human-based platforms offer ethical and highly predictive solutions for skin biology, cutaneous responses, and dermatological mechanisms.
Our cutting-edge ex vivo models effectively bridge the gap between early non-clinical studies and clinical human outcomes, providing robust alternatives for dermatology research across topical formulations, biologics, medical devices, and cosmetic or scalp-care applications.
