Advancing drug development with New Approach Methodologies (NAMs)
Accurate prediction of human immune responses remains a significant challenge in preclinical safety assessment. Human-relevant New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) have the potential to improve translational relevance while reducing reliance on animal testing.
This study, presented at the EUROTOX 2026 conference in Vienna, evaluated the ability of HypoSkin®, a biostabilized ex vivo human skin model, to detect and characterize molecular responses related to adverse events following exposure to a therapeutic drug administered by subcutaneous injection.
